Over the span of twenty-pages, the first zine in the Soft Magic series, “Understanding Our Trauma Responses,” provides a narrative account of my experience doing parts work in somatic trauma therapy, followed by descriptions of five different trauma responses (fight, flight, freeze, attach-cry, and submit), plus some practical tools for integrating somatic trauma work into your daily life.
